Chitwan Rhinos set 162-run target for Pokhara Avengers

Chitwan Rhinos have set a target of 162 runs against Pokhara Avengers in the ongoing Nepal Premier League (NPL) match at the Tribhuvan University Cricket Ground, Kirtipur.
After losing the toss and being put to bat, Chitwan managed 161 runs for the loss of seven wickets in their allotted 20 overs. The innings was anchored by Ravi Bopara, who scored a crucial 51 runs off 38 balls, including three fours and three sixes, before being caught off Raymon Reifer’s delivery.
Despite a shaky start, with Chitwan at 46-3 in 5.2 overs, captain Kushal Malla (38 off 23 balls) and Bopara stabilised the innings with a 68-run partnership for the fourth wicket. Malla struck one four and four sixes before being dismissed by Sagar Dhakal, caught by wicketkeeper Kushal Bhurtel.
Deepak Bohora (2) and Hasan Ishaquille (14) fell early to Bipin Khatri, while Sohail Tanvir was dismissed for a golden duck. Luke Wenkestijn contributed 16 runs, but his dismissal to Bas de Leede left the middle order under pressure. Santosh Karki added 10 runs, while Amar Routela (12) and Sharad Vesawkar (11) remained unbeaten to guide Chitwan to a defendable total.
For Pokhara, Bipin Khatri, Bas de Leede, and Raymon Reifer claimed two wickets each, with Sagar Dhakal taking one.
The Avengers now face the challenge of chasing 162 to secure a win.
