Nawalparasi East
Two Indian pilgrims who had come to Nepal to visit the Pashupatinath temple died after suffering from diarrhoea in Nawalparasi East.
According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Bed Bahadur Paudel, the deceased are 54-year-old Ranju Kesari, a resident of Raunnath Nagar in Balrampur of India, and 48-year-old Uttar Pradesh local Shanti Devi, who entered Nepal through the Sunauli border point.
They died while undergoing treatment at Kawasoti District Hospital on Monday night.
“They were sick by the time they left for Nepal,” said DSP Paudel. The bodies have been handed over to their family members, who were also travelling with them.
