Two injured in Gorkha landslide airlifted to Kathmandu
Security personnel backed by locals searching for five missing individuals.

Two people, who were injured after being buried by a landslide in Dharche Rural Municipality-5 of Gorkha district, have been sent to Kathmandu for further treatment.
Deputy Superintendent of Police Ramesh Kumar Shrestha of the District Police Office, Gorkha, said they were airlifted to Kathmandu through a chopper of Kailash Helicopter Services.
Dharche locals, 35-year-old Dilip Gurung and 27-year-old Chham Bahadur Gurung, were injured in the incident. Police Dilip has sustained injuries to various parts of his body, and his condition is serious, while Chham is in a stable health condition.
The police said both injured individuals have been sent to the Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital in Kathmandu for treatment.
A total of five people have gone missing after the landslide swept away a house and a farm at around 3am on Sunday.
DSP Shrestha said search efforts are ongoing with the help of locals.
Those missing in the landslide are 37-year-old Jit Bahadur Gurung, 35-year-old Kanchi Gurung, 60-year-old Sulal Kancha Gurung, 33-year-old Ramesh Gurung and 24-year-old tractor driver Ramesh Pariyar.
The landslide swept away an agricultural farm run by Jit Bahadur and a house.
