Four die of snakebite in Kapilvastu

Four people died of snakebite in Kapilvastu on Tuesday.
Two boys, aged nine and 12, were found unconscious in their house in Budhhabhumi Municipality-1 on Tuesday morning after being bitten by a snake while asleep.
The siblings were taken to Butwal for treatment, as recommended by the local clinic that they were rushed to for preliminary treatment.
One of the brothers died on his way to Butwal while the other died during treatment.
Similarly, 31-year-old Anita Yadav of Maharajgunj Municipality and a 14-year-old Budhhabhumi Municipality-10 local also died of snakebites, police said.
Both the victims were taken to the Kapilvastu Snake Bite Treatment Centre but could not be treated.
