Two infants die of snake bites in Bardiya

Two infants died from snake bites in Gulariya Municipality-1, Bardiya district.
According to the police, the deceased are girls aged nine months and 11 months.
Dr Subash Pandey, medical superintendent of Bardiya Hospital, said both infants died while being rushed to the hospital for treatment.
In another incident, six-year-old Riya Chaudhary of Madhuban Municipality-2, was seriously injured in a snake bite.
Deputy Superintendent of Police Tulsiram Aryal said she has been referred to Bheri Hospital in Nepalgunj for further treatment.
