Gandaki defeats APF in Tiger Cup Volleyball

Gandaki Province emerged victorious against the Armed Police Force (APF) in the men’s category of the Ncell Fifth Tiger Cup National and International Volleyball Tournament, held at the Pokhara Stadium on Tuesday.
In an exciting match, Gandaki bounced back after losing the first set 23-25, winning the next three sets to secure a 3-1 victory. Gandaki claimed the second set 25-20, the third 25-19, and the fourth 25-15, to seal the win.
The win means Gandaki will now face APF in their next match against Tip Top Help Nepal Sports Club. Following that, the top team will progress to the eliminator round.
Earlier in the women’s category, host team Tiger Group of Pokhara and Nepal Police Club both secured wins. The host team triumphed over Tip Top New Diamond Sports Club, while Nepal Police Club defeated Tribhuvan Army Club.
In the women’s competition, Tiger Group will play APF in the first qualifier, while Police Club and New Diamond will face off in the eliminator. The loser of the first qualifier and the winner of the eliminator will meet in the second qualifier for a spot in the final.
