Echoes in the Valley (EITV) has announced a call for submissions for its 2025 Confluence, inviting performers, researchers, filmmakers, collectors, and creators to share their work.

This year, the Confluence will change from its previous round-table format to a casual and celebratory gathering. It will bring together musicians, teachers, students, and music enthusiasts to exchange ideas and inspiration.

Themed Rising Chorus, the event aims to highlight the growing movements in music, from documenting forgotten traditions to using music for cultural and political change. Participants can share projects, showcase performances, or present works-in-progress—each within a five-minute slot.

The submission deadline is 15 February 2025. Acceptance notifications will be sent on February 20. The event will take place on March 6.
