Nepal and Sri Lanka share points as rain halts U-19 Women’s Asia Cup Super Four clash

The U-19 ACC Women’s Asia Cup Super Four match between Nepal and Sri Lanka at the Bayuemas Cricket Oval in Kuala Lumpur was abandoned due to rain on Thursday. Both teams shared a point each following the cancellation.
Nepal had opted to field after winning the toss and struck early, claiming a Sri Lankan wicket in the opening over. However, rain intervened shortly thereafter and continued unabated, forcing the match to be called off.
Nepal had previously defeated Pakistan by six wickets to secure their place in the Super Four and shared points with India after their group stage encounter was also abandoned due to rain. The Super Four stage features Nepal, India, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka.
