One killed, three injured in Myagdi jeep accident

One person was killed, and three others were injured when a jeep met with an accident in Malika Rural Municipality in Myagdi on Wednesday.
The jeep, heading from Sungarepani to Chiuribot in ward 4 of Malika, veered off the road and plunged 50 metres down. According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Bharat Shrestha, 31-year-old Nagendra Rasaili of Chiuribot died on the spot.
Among the five passengers, Sher Bahadur BK, 33, Nagendra Gotame, 31, and Bhim Prasad Gotame, 22, sustained injuries and are receiving treatment at Darwang Hospital.
The District Police Office attributed the accident to the driver's negligence. A team from the Area Police Office, Darwang, has reached the scene.
