PM Deuba’s Oman visit: 11 Omani ministers to welcome PM Deuba

Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba, who recently attended the 72nd session of United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) in New York, US, is making a four-day official visit to Sultanate of Oman before returning home.
It is learnt the oil rich nation has decided to welcome PM Deuba at Muscat International Airport with a guard of honour.
PM Deuba’s high-level delegation is leaving for Muscat, the Capital of Oman, from Abu Dhabi on Monday evening.
Before this, the Prime Minister was in New York to participate in the 72nd session of United Nations General Assembly (UNGA). He addressed the UN session on September 23.
Oman’s Deputy Prime Minister Sayyid Fahad bin Mahmood Al-Said will receive PM Deuba at the airport, along with 10 other ministers, according to Oman’s Diwan of Royal Court.
PM Deuba is accompanied by DPM and Foreign Minister Krishna Bahadur Mahara, Minister for Labour and Employment Farmullah Mansoor, Minister for Women, Children and Social Welfare Aasha Koirala, Nepali Ambassador to Oman Sarmila Prajuli, along with foreign secretary and foreign minister’s advisor, among other high ranking officials.
Diwan of Royal Court has said that Nepal and Oman will sign an agreement during a meeting. However, the topic of agreement has not been made public.
The Prime Minister will be returning home on September 28.
