The Pathibhara Temple, situated at an altitude of 3,794 metres, welcomed 61,173 pilgrims in Kartik (mid-September to mid-October), according to the Pathibhara Area Development Committee.
According to the committee, the visitors included devotees from both Nepal and India.
Executive Director of the committee Prajin Hangwang said initial concerns over a potential decline in pilgrim numbers due to rainfall, floods, and landslides before Dashain were addressed by opening the Hewakhola diversion and improving road access.
