Nepal festival Tasmania 2025 set for March 29
The event in Hobart to showcase Nepali culture, music, and traditions.

The Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) Tasmania chapter, together with NRNA Australia, is holding Nepal Festival Tasmania 2025 in Hobart.
The event with the theme “One Country, Many Stories”, to be held on March 29 on the Parliament House Lawn, promises a grand celebration of Nepali culture, music, and traditions.
The Aussie Finance and Home Loans will feature a cultural parade showcasing traditional dances, vibrant costumes and musical instruments showcasing Nepal’s rich culture.
According to Jagdish Khadka, vice-president of NRNA Australia and state coordinator of NRNA Tasmania, popular Nepali musical artists will captivate the audience with live performances.
Famous singer Samikshya Adhikari, Kandara, a popular Nepali band, will entertain the audiences together with acclaimed singers Yubaraj Chaulagain and Udesh Shrestha.
“Jeremy Rockliff, premier of Tasmania, is a chief guest while Nepal’s ambassador to Australia Chitra Lekha Yadav will be attending as a special guest,” said Khadka, adding the event will help strengthen ties between the Nepali and Australian communities.
