Two more dead in Nijgadh gas cylinder explosion

Two more people, injured in a gas cylinder explosion in Nijgadh on Monday, died on Tuesday.
According to the police, Rakesh Jaiswal, 35, and 20-year-old Ritu Rajat succumbed to their injuries at the Vayodha Hospital in Birgunj on Tuesday.
On Monday, 45-year-old Resham Pulami was killed after a gas cylinder exploded at his Sahid Chowk-based workshop.
The Nijgadh-5 local, who had sustained serious injuries when a gas cylinder exploded in the course of wielding, died while undergoing treatment at the Birgunj-based hospital, said Deputy Superintendent of Police Dadhiram Neupane.
Five others had also been injured in the accident, two of whom were Indian nationals.
Police have taken two people into custody for their alleged involvement in the incident.
Further investigation into the matter is underway.
