One dead, another missing in Kamala river

A teenager lost his life and one more went mission while taking a bath in the Kamala river at Uttarbahinighat of Karjanha Municipality-1, Siraha on Friday afternoon.
Laxman Sah, a 15-year-old from Mirchaiya Municipality-5, drowned at the Uttarbahini Ghat while 16-year-old Roshan Mandal went missing.
The Nepal Police, Armed Police Force, and family members immediately initiated a search operation. According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Panchakumar Bakhu, the chief of the Area Police Office in Mirchaiya, Laxman’s body was recovered at around 1:45 pm, floating in the river. The authorities are preparing to send the body for a post-mortem examination.
“Efforts are ongoing to locate Roshan Mandal and special security teams have been deployed to assist in the search,” the police said.
