Police arrest one more over royalist protest violence in Tinkune
As many as 84 detained so far over the March 28 protest; 22 under investigation for sedition.

Police have arrested another individual in connection with the violent pro-monarchy protest at the Tinkune area on March 28.
Santosh Silwal, 34, a resident of Dhading district, was taken into custody, according to Kathmandu Police Range. The Kathmandu District Court has granted police a four-day remand to keep Silwal in custody for investigation. With this, the number of people arrested in connection with the Tinkune incident has reached 84.
Of them, 22 are being investigated on sedition charges, said Superintendent of Police Apilraj Bohara, spokesperson for Kathmandu Police. Eight of the detainees have been released on bail.
On March 28, pro-monarchy demonstrators clashed with police at Tinkune, vandalising public property and setting vehicles on fire.
