Genius IB World School honoured the Nepali national women’s football team during its annual sports meet at the Nepal Army Physical Training Ground in Lagankhel.

Twenty-six team members, including the coach and manager, received a cash award of Rs130,000 and a letter of appreciation. The school’s founding chairman Naveen Kumar Joshi presented the awards.

The school said the recognition aimed to celebrate the team’s contributions to Nepali sports and inspire future generations of athletes.

Team captain Anjila Tumbapo Subba expressed gratitude at the event, thanking the school for acknowledging their efforts and motivating young players.

The school said the felicitation aligns with its commitment to fostering a culture of sports and holistic development.
