‘Visions In Hues’ at the Kalā Salon
The exhibit will continue till March 18.
Post Report
The Kalā Salon, in collaboration with Space A, is presenting an exhibition entitled ‘Visions In Hues’. This is a joint residency which aims to provide support and platforms for new voices in contemporary arts. Deepak Auji and Shailee Vajracharya are the two resident artists exhibiting their works.
Auji said, “I have captured my internalised feelings and thought processes in the artworks exhibited here. These paintings depict my feelings through a combination of surrealism and abstract expressionism.”
Similarly, Vajracharya said, “There is a poetic beauty in bougainvillaeas—the contrast of thorns and blossoms, their resilience, and the ever-changing journey of creation. My paintings seek to capture this fleeting essence.”
This exhibition will continue till March 18 at the Kalā Salon.
“This exhibition, along with their works, goes beyond mere display; it highlights the importance of fostering young artists and creating opportunities for voices that will influence the future of visual art storytelling,” said the gallery statement.
