Two killed in separate road accidents in Banke and Dailekh

Two people lost their lives in separate road accidents in Banke and Dailekh districts on Monday.
In Banke, a motorcyclist died in Badhaiyatal Rural Municipality Ward 3 due to overspeeding. The deceased, identified as Ram Kishun Thapa, believed to be in his mid-20s, sustained severe injuries after crashing into a pole.
He later succumbed to his injuries while undergoing treatment at the District Hospital, Gulariya, according to Traffic Chief Sudip Kumar Khadka.
In a separate incident, 22-year-old Prakash Budha of Chamunda Bindrasaini Municipality Ward 1, Dailekh, died in a crash when the vehicle he was travelling overturned.
The accident occurred after the tyre of the vehicle reportedly skidded, causing the driver to lose control. The Hiace van, which was en route to Chamunda from Surkhet, crushed Budha to death.
The police are investigating for details.
