The Meteorological Forecasting Division said a westerly disturbance, local winds, and moisture-laden air from the Bay of Bengal are currently influencing the weather across the country.

According to the division, the weather is expected to remain partly to generally cloudy throughout the country on Wednesday, with chances of light to moderate rain accompanied by thunder and lightning in some places of the high hills and mountains and at one or two locations elsewhere.

The division also said similar conditions are likely to persist tonight, with light rain accompanied by thunder and lightning possible in some areas of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Lumbini provinces. Light snowfall is also possible at some high-altitude locations in the hills and Himalayas.
