The Meteorological Forecasting Division said that most parts of the country will witness generally cloudy conditions with chances of thunderstorms and light to moderate rainfall, particularly in hilly and Tarai regions on Tuesday.

In Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces, light snowfall is likely in one or two places of the highlands. The hilly and Tarai areas are expected to receive light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning in a few places during the day. Night-time conditions will remain partly to mostly cloudy in the highlands and hills, with isolated rain likely.

In Madhesh Province, the Tarai region may receive some rain during the day, while the night is expected to remain mostly clear.

The highest chances of rainfall and snowfall are concentrated in the central and western regions.
