Nepal is currently under the partial influence of local winds, and both maximum and minimum temperatures are rising across most parts of the country, according to the Meteorological Forecasting Division.

The weather is partly cloudy over the hilly regions of Koshi, Gandaki, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces, while the rest of the country is generally clear.

In the afternoon, the hilly areas of Koshi, Gandaki, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim are expected to remain partly to generally cloudy, with mainly fair weather elsewhere. Light rain accompanied by thunder and lightning is likely at a few places in the hilly regions of Koshi, Gandaki, and Karnali.

There is also a chance of snowfall at a few locations in the high hills and mountainous areas of Gandaki and Karnali provinces.

The division has advised people to remain cautious, as thunderstorms and light rain are possible in the hills of Koshi, Gandaki, and Karnali, while hot wave conditions may affect parts of the Tarai in Lumbini and Sudurpaschim provinces.
