The Meteorological Forecasting Division said local and westerly winds are currently affecting Nepal’s weather, bringing chances of partial to generally cloudy skies in hilly areas of Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati and other provinces this afternoon.

Thunderstorms accompanied by lightning and light to moderate rainfall are likely in some areas of Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati, Gandaki and Lumbini provinces.

High-hilly and mountainous regions of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki and Karnali provinces may also witness light rain and snowfall.

According to the division, weather will remain partly cloudy tonight in the hilly areas of Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces, while other regions are expected to remain mostly clear. Some areas in these provinces could also experience light to moderate rainfall.
