The weather across Nepal is currently being influenced by westerly and local winds, with partial impact from moisture-laden air entering from the Bay of Bengal, according to the Meteorological Forecasting Division.

This afternoon, skies are expected to remain partly to generally cloudy nationwide. The Division said there is a chance of light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning at a few places in the hilly regions and at one or two places elsewhere. Some high-altitude areas may witness light snowfall and rainfall.

Tonight, the weather will remain partly to generally cloudy over hilly areas, while the rest of the country will see mostly clear skies. Light rain with thunder and lightning is likely at one or two places in the hills. There is also a possibility of light snowfall and rainfall at one or two locations in the highlands of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces.
